LOS ALCANCES DE LAS ÓRDENES DE BIDEN (II)

SEGUNDA PARTE
Continuamos con las 17 primeras órdenes ejecutivas que firmó el flamante presidente de Estados Unidos Joe Biden, en contraposición de las decisiones racistas e inhumanas implementadas por su antecesor, con algunas acotaciones:
- FIN AL ‘VETO MUSULMÁN’. Biden ha anulado el veto que impuso su antecesor a los viajeros de 11 países de mayoría musulmana, a saber: Eritrea, Irán, Kirguistán, Libia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Somalia, Sudán, Siria, Tanzania y el Yemen, conocido popularmente como el “veto a los musulmanes”. Nosotros lo calificaríamos como “el veto del racista number one del mundo”.
- CANCELACIÓN DEL OLEODUCTO KEYSTONE XL. El presidente ha cancelado el proyecto del oleoducto Keystone XL, de Canadá a Estados Unidos, convertido en un símbolo de la lucha contra la crisis climática, y ha ordenado revisar más de un centenar de decisiones medioambientales del empresario multimillonario. Concuerda con su otra decisión de reintegrase al “Acuerdo Climático de París”.
- ESPALDARAZO A LOS DREAMERS. Otra de las órdenes firmadas por Biden salvaguarda el programa de Acción Diferida, DACA, por sus siglas en inglés, que protege de la deportación a unos 650.000 indocumentados que llegaron a Estados Unidos cuando eran niños, conocidos como “dreamers” en español, “soñadores”. Recuérdese la política de brutalidad manifiesta del magnate de separar, inclusive a niños de sus padres o familias.
- ALIVIO A LIBERIANOS. Biden ha extendido hasta el 30 de junio de 2022 la suspensión de las deportaciones y los permisos laborales para cerca de 4000 liberianos en Estados Unidos bajo un programa especial para refugiados de ese país. Otra resolución en bien de los desprotegidos y perseguidos.
- DETENCIÓN DE INDOCUMENTADOS. El nuevo presidente de Estados Unidos ordenó la revisión de las prioridades del Servicio de Control de Inmigración y Aduanas, ICE en inglés, a la hora de arrestar a inmigrantes indocumentados, que el expresidente había instruido ampliar. A ello hay que agregar que un juez federal ordenó restaurar en su totalidad el programa que protege de la deportación a los jóvenes indocumentados.
- SUMAR A LOS INDOCUMENTADOS EN EL CENSO. Además, Biden ordenó volver a contar a los inmigrantes indocumentados en el censo de población, que se lleva a cabo cada 10 años y que sirve para asignar fondos y representación política, obvio para tomas decisiones humanitarias.
Ahí vamos con esta recopilación, que repetimos demuestra el cambio de las políticas sanguinarias por racistas del trumpista, por las nuevas humanistas de Joe Biden. CONTINUARÁ.

THE SCOPE OF BIDEN’S ORDERS (II)

We continue with the first 17 executive orders signed by the new President of the United States Joe Biden, in contrast to the racist and inhumane decisions implemented by his predecessor, with some comments:
7. END TO THE ‘MUSLIM VETO’. Biden has annulled the veto that his predecessor imposed on travelers from 11 Muslim-majority countries, namely: Eritrea, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Libya, Myanmar, Nigeria, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, and Yemen, popularly known as the veto of the Muslims ”. We would qualify it as «the veto of the world’s number one racist.»
8. CANCELLATION OF THE KEYSTONE XL PIPELINE. The president has canceled the Keystone XL pipeline project, from Canada to the United States, which has become a symbol of the fight against the climate crisis, and has ordered a review of more than a hundred environmental decisions of the billionaire businessman. He agrees with his other decision to rejoin the “Paris Climate Agreement”.
9. BACK TO THE DREAMERS. Another of the orders signed by Biden safeguards the Deferred Action program, DACA, for its acronym in English, which protects from deportation some 650,000 undocumented immigrants who came to the United States as children, known as «dreamers» in Spanish, «dreamers ”. Remember the tycoon’s overt brutality policy of separating even children from their parents or families.
10. RELIEF TO LIBERIANS. Biden has extended until June 30, 2022, the suspension of deportations and work permits for about 4,000 Liberians in the United States under a special program for refugees from that country. Another resolution for the benefit of the unprotected and persecuted.
11. DETENTION OF. The new President of the United States ordered the revision of the priorities of the Immigration Control and Customs Service, ICE in English when arresting undocumented immigrants, which the former president had instructed to expand. To this must be added that a federal judge ordered the restoration of the program that protects undocumented youth from deportation in its entirety.
12. ADD THE ILLEGAL WORKERS IN THE CENSUS. In addition, Biden ordered the re-counting of undocumented migrants in the population census, which is carried out every 10 years and used to allocate funds and political representation, obvious for humanitarian decisions.
